History


  1937 Paul Kieselmann founds a little job turning shop, a factory for the treatment of aluminium and steel.

  1947 After the troubles of World War II, the production of rustproof fittings begins. For that purpose,
the first production hall in today’s Paul-Kieselmann-Street is built.

  1957 Owing to a continuous increase in demand, soon a second hall having an effective area of
850 sqm has to be built. The fittings product range is extended by fittings for the milk and
beverage industry. Among the production of fittings, complete pipe systems and complete
plants are now built of stainless steel which are mainly used in the food, chemical and
pharmaceutical industries.

  1962   The sole proprietorship is transformed into a limited partnership.

  1966
The sons-in-law Horst Dohle and Walter Zitsch take over the business management and
the technical management after the founder’s death.

  1973 Foundation of KIESELMANN Anlagenbau.
First spring safety valve for gases.

  1975 The valve program in A2 and A4 meanwhile already comprises tap cocks, ball valves, butterfly valves, slanted seat valves/multiple-way valves, overflow valves spring- and    
weight-loaded, assay valves and spring-loaded safety valves. For plunger valves a pneumatic
drive and auxiliary means for manual operation are available.

  1978 A new administration building with a large warehouse, tube warehouse and distribution is built.
Total effective area after several enlargements of the company approx. 17,000 sqm.
KIESELMANN is transformed in a limited liability company.
 

  1981 First participation in a fair in the People’s Republic of China.

  1985 Horst Dohle takes over the sole business management in Knittlingen and in the newly founded
subsidiary in Ratingen near Dusseldorf.

  1987 In the year of the company’s 50th anniversary, the whole factory is enlarged again and
modernised to be state-of-the-art. Approx. 160 employees work now in the company.

  1992 Klaus Dohle replaces his father and takes over the business management.

  1994   Foundation of a sales office in Beijing.

  1996 Enlargement of the production area by 2,000 sqm.

  1997  Market introduction of the newly developed double seat valve.

  2001 New single seat valve with spherical housing.
Foundation of Kieselmann Liquid Processing Equipment Beijing Ltd in China.

  2004
Investment in a fully-automatic high rack warehouse. Double seat valves are fitted with the  universal sealing material k-flex. These reliable valves set standards in the sector for many
years.

 

  2005 New developments: Aseptic sampling valve as well as control heads with emergency
shutdown and the new inline program.

  2007 Enlargement of the production area by approx. 3,600 sqm. Building of a new hall with
integrated material stores.

  2008 The new diaphragm valve GEMBRA marks the beginning of a new generation of
KIESELMANN valves. ASI-Bus control heads are enhanced with cycle lift recognition without
external sensors.
Foundation of the KK-Office in England.

  2009 Participation in AquaDuna GmbH & Co. KG. Completion of the new administration building 
and move. It offers work places for approx. 70 employees on an office space of 1,546 sqm.

  2010 Participation in VA Food Processing GmbH.
KIESELMANN with new company logo and new CI.
 
    New control head KI-TOP.

  2011 Takeover of RIEGER GmbH in Bietigheim-Bissingen with subsidiary in Pees/Hungary.

  2012 Enlargement of the production area of approx. 5,160 sqm.

  2014 Enlargement of the full automatic storage system containing up to
9400 tanks und 500 palettes

  2015

Construction of a new tube hall with 3470 m2
Foundation of KIESELMANN Pharmatec GmbH.

New control head for the ATEX area gas and dust, new control valves series, neew aseptic sampling valves line.

 


       
 
 
New products at the Brau in Nuremberg: New overflow valve program and new hygienic and flow-optimised non-return valve.
