2018
KIESELMANN takes over GROSS Behälterbau
With retroactive effect from May 15, Gross Behälter- und Anlagenbau GmbH was integrated into the KIESELMANN Fluid Process Group under the new name GROSS Behälterbau GmbH. From now on, Gross will complement the Fluid Process Group company Rieger Behälterbau in stainless steel tank construction.
The former pipe storage and KIESELMANN canteen will be demolished. A new production and office building with company restaurant is being built in its place. The new building has a total usable area of 4000 m².
KIESELMANN Pharmatec GmbH is founded. The independent company specialises in the construction of process equipment for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
On a floor area of 3500 m², a new pipe hall will be built, which will be fitted with stainless steel pipes with a total length of over 200,000 metres.
In 2012, KIESELMANN took over RIEGER GmbH in Bietigheim-Bissingen with its subsidiary Fecoral in Pees/Hungary. The company produces high-quality tanks and containers and accessories made of stainless chromium-nickel and special steels.
The external presentation of the company receives a revised, contemporary appearance. This is most clearly visible on the basis of the new KIESELMANN logo. The valve technology is also being upgraded with the new KI-TOP control head.
KIESELMANN invests in AquaDuna GmbH & Co. KG. The company develops machines and technologies for cleaning containers. AquaDuna specialises in devices that enable effective cleaning with minimal consumption.
KIESELMANN Rus starts business in Moscow. The company is headed by Sergey Baranov (on the left in the photo). In 2013, the subsidiary, which is in close contact with the headquarters in Knittlingen, becomes part of the FLUID PROCESS GROUP.
The new diaphragm valve GEMBRA is the starting signal for a new generation of Kieselmann valves. ASI bus control heads are being further developed with clock pulse detection without external sensors.
In 2005, the company expanded its product portfolio with the Aseptic Sampling Valve, Control Heads with EMERGENCY STOP function and a new inline program.
KIESELMANN double-seat valves are equipped with the universal sealing material k-flex and set new standards in the industry as reliable, leak-proof valves. In the same year, the company invests in a fully automated high-bay warehouse.
The first international sales office is founded in Beijing: Kieselmann Liquid Processing Equipment Beijing Ltd. The product portfolio will be expanded to include a new single-seat valve with ball housing.
In 1992 Klaus Dohle, the son of Horst Dohle, took over the management. Klaus Dohle still manages the fortunes of the company and drives its growth. The daughters of the company’s founder, Karin Helms-Kieselmann, Rosemarie Zitsch and Renate Dohle, assist him as shareholders.
The entire operation will be enlarged again and brought to the latest technical standards for the anniversary year. The company now employs about 160 people.
A new administration building with a large warehouse, pipe storage and distribution is created. Total usable space after several company extensions approx. 17,000 sqm. KIESELMANN is renamed a GmbH.
The first KIESELMANN product catalogue includes check valves, ball valves, butterfly valves, angle seat/multi-way valves, overflow valves, spring and weight-loaded test valves and spring-loaded safety valves. There is already a pneumatic drive and manual override for piston valves.
The independent company KIESELMANN Anlagenbau is founded. The company, which has its business premises in the KIESELMANN headquarters in Knittlingen, specialises in the planning and implementation of equipment for the food and beverage industry.
In the same year, KIESELMANN also presents its first spring safety valve for gases.
Thanks to steadily rising demand, a second hall with 850 m² of usable space was soon built. The range of valves is expanded to include fittings for the dairy and beverage industry. In addition to the manufacturing of valves, complete piping systems and entire systems made of stainless steel are now also being built, which are mainly used in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
After the turmoil of World War II production of stainless fittings was started. For this purpose, the first production hall was built in today's Paul-Kieselmann-Straße.
